Bookings

• A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it in writing and any required advance is received.
• Rates, availability and inclusions are confirmed at the time of booking and may vary by season.
• You are responsible for providing accurate travel details, guest numbers and valid ID where required.

Payments

• An advance may be required to confirm your dates, with the balance payable as agreed (typically on arrival).
• All prices are as quoted in writing; no hidden charges are added.

Cancellations

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Booking Policy, which is shared with you before payment.

Liability

• We act as a facilitator connecting guests with verified houseboat owners. While we personally verify houseboats, the stay and its facilities are provided by the houseboat owner.
• We are not liable for events beyond our control, including weather, road closures, natural events or government restrictions (see Force Majeure).
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and for conducting themselves respectfully during their stay.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or government action. In such cases we will work with you to reschedule where possible.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images and design — belongs to Kashmir Houseboat Booking and may not be copied or reused without permission.

User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when booking.
• Respect the houseboat, its staff, local customs and the environment of Dal and Nigeen lakes.
• Follow reasonable safety guidance during your stay.
